Tablet Portrait

Got a drawing tablet as a present recently. Haven't gotten used to it yet, but am enjoying myself nonetheless. The picture above was my first complete piece with it.

Still in the midst of projects and am trying to update this blog more frequently.

Gothic Eccentricity

Got inspired by Sherri Dupree(of Eisley fame)'s art [click], which I label as gothic eccentricity. Skipped Science period at school today and tried a few sketches of my own.

A warm-up sketch. Pretty proud of myself for thinking up the zebra legs.

Vast improvement seen here. Got a little inspiration from Brett Helquist's work in A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. I think I've got the 'eccentricity' part right, can't seem to find the goth in me. Yet.

More (wannabe) gothic eccentricity on this blog soon, I hope.
